Update [02/03/2021 12:23]

Further to our last communication in January, https://interstatus.co.uk/default.aspx?action=incident&ID=96, we are writing to confirm some status alterations.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ultrafast Appointments
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Openreach announced that in order to minimise the time spent in a customer’s premise, they would only complete full provisioning for Ultrafast orders (FTTP, G.fast and SOGfast) orders, where the end customer had no broadband connection or had speeds of less than 30Mbps. If, however, the end user did have an existing broadband service with Openreach, with speeds exceeding 30Mbps, the date for completion would be pushed out to week commencing 22nd February 2021.

On Monday 15th February, Openreach announced that appointments for Ultrafast products, for provisioning jobs, would be pushed out to 15th March and beyond.

Openreach have since announced that any Ultrafast provision appointments currently scheduled for weeks of 1st and 8th March 2021, will now also be pushed out to 15th March and beyond.

If you are affected by any of these appointment changes, you do not need to do anything at this time. Openreach will reschedule the appointments and these changes will be reflected in our portal.

Provisioning for these products where the end customer does not have a working broadband connection, or a speed of less than 30Mbps will be completed as normal.
